It is hard to dispute that evidence. I say there is a chance that NASA did alter the color of the photos.
I'm still inclined to believe that if they were altering the photos for a nefarious reason, they'd do a better job of hiding it.

Not on the topic but still pretty cool:
      Astronomers find 5 planet system!
This is extremely cool for several reasons. For one, 55 Cancri is a sunlike star– it has roughly the same mass and age as the Sun. This means that systems like this might be common for stars like the Sun. Moreover, 55 Cancri is pretty close by: 41 light years, a short walk as far as the Milky Way is concerned (the MW is 100,000 light years across). Finding a system so close implies that they are common throughout the galaxy.

Second, this newly-discovered fifth planet orbits 55 Cancri in 260 days at a distance of 116 million kilometers, putting it smack dab in the "habitable zone" of the star. In other words, a normal run-of-the-mill planet at that distance will have a temperature range likely to include that of liquid water. This does not mean it has water, or life, or is earthlike in any way! It just means that it’s in the right spot, which is an important, but not sufficient, condition for water.

I'm telling ya' there are many "earths" in this universe, easily.

To quote AA, those that think otherwise are morons.

That's what I was saying but somehow people believe that in all of the universe that we are alone, unless they see proof.

They might be dogmatic yeah, but calling then morons is way too harsh. Many people are reared with certain beliefs, and its very difficult for them to accept anything that challenges any part of that belief system.

Oh please. Everybody's faith is tested, it doesn't matter who you are. Challenges don't just automatically break down a belief. People mostly have reasons to believe in what they do, and if not they're without any substance.

All of the deep space nine fans in this thread calling people morons need to show us why everyone else is a moron since they can pull name calling cards.

Everything was created for a purpose, including life. Not some imaginary people that floats around in your imagination.

Next thing, you'll be telling me Mars is blue instead of red.

It is not our fault they were raised ignorantly.

                Right?

Or is this going to become a God/Religion thread?

I hope not. OS young people need to know things.

...and again, can you show us otherwise

The universe is too systematic to be some random happening like people popping up all over it yet no one else knows anything.

So again I ask you, who created life itself?

The universe is also far too big for people in one small percentage of it to know where everyone else is unless of course you've discovered some way to send signals through large parts of space instantaneously.

I believe in God if that's what you're asking. Anyway, who created the universe(which I believe God did) is irrelevant.
