what the hell was with the ending of american psycho? did he really kill all those people or was it his imagination? I say this because when he talkes to his supposed lawyer he says paul allen is alive and well in london.

I'm pretty sure it was all in his head.

It absolutley was all in his head. He was so nuts that he really thought he had killed all of those people. A normal lunatic would have just killed them.

        Awesome movie though.

Indeed... some of my favorite quotes include:

Patrick Bateman: I like to dissect girls. Did you know I'm utterly insane?
Patrick Bateman: I don't think we should see each other any more.
          Evelyn Williams:Why? What's wrong?
          Patrick Bateman:
I need to engage in homicidal behaviour on a massive scale. It can not be corrected but I have no other way to fulfill my needs.
Patrick Bateman: He was into that whole Yale thing.
          Donald Kimball: Yale thing?
          Patrick Bateman:Yeah, Yale thing.
          Donald Kimball:What whole Yale thing?
Patrick Bateman:Well, he was probably a closet homosexual who did a lot of cocaine. That whole Yale thing.
Patrick Bateman: [voice-over] There is a moment of sheer panic when I realize that Paul's apartment overlooks the park... and is obviously more expensive than mine.

I thought with American Psycho he did kill all those people. The reason he got away with it is because his lawyer had no idea who he really was and when he confessed at the end, the lawyer just thought he was joking.

That was my take, at least.

Interesting note about this. There is a quote in one of the chapters mentioning how most people that travel in time will be unaware of the new time line. This of course opens the door for there to be someone or some people that do remember.

I'm going to take that as the reason why the girl recognized Donnie's mother at the end. They both realized what Donnie had done.

The feeling I got from the movie was that he didn't actually go back in time, but that he saw his future during his episode that left him waking up at the golf course, and so when he came back to reality he chose to remain in his room and be killed.

2001: A Space Odyssey. I get the jist of the overall meaning or what have you, but the last 10 minutes was a serious mind-****.

Here's a continuity issue that's always bugged the crap out of me.

In Rocky IV (4 for those who don't know Roman numerals), Rocky leaves Philly to train in Russia before fighting Ivan Drago. When he leaves, his son looks to be hovering around the 9 or 10 year old range.

In the beginning of Rocky V, he presumably returns to Philly a few days after the fight with Drago. When he gets back, all of a sudden, his son is like 13 or 14 years old.

                  What the hell?

Easy answer there. Rocky V never existed. Ever.

The proper follow-up to Rocky IV is Rocky Balboa.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

                            2. Star wars IV ...When attacking the Death Star at the end, why start so far down at the other end of the trench, why not just start really super close to portals, and just keep looping around until the shot goes in???

A lot of people died for no reason because of these two blunders.

because it made for a better scene. That's like saying why does John McClain fight the bad guys in every Die Hard movie. They are all ultimately just theives out for money. Without him, there would be less dead bodies and collateral damage.
