Given that Nolte is my favorite actor I could easily agree, but I have to go with Burgess Meridith in "Rocky".

No love for Billy Bob in Friday Night Lights?

I thought his halftime "Being Perfect" speech was just as good. Not as strong vocally, but just as emotionally powerful.

Not the best, but I think the Rock was good in Gridiron Gang.

Good call....not as powerful as Russell's "this is your night" speech in "Miracle", but very good. In fact, I used that scene (FNL) one week in church to help emphasize a point.

I'll back up Billy Bob as a solid pick, but right now, as #1, I've gotta go with Kyle Chandler as Coach Eric Taylor in Friday Night Lights (the show).
