Re: Who likes Tool?
I love their music, but sometimes find their lyrics a little too dark for me at times. Their bass player is amazing, and Maynard is one of the best vocalists of the last 20 years.Listen to some of my covers:

My favorite bands are Tool & A Perfect Circle."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: Who likes Tool?
I love Tool. I got into them in when I was in college in the early 90s. I heard Opiate and was hooked.
My wife got me tickets to see them this past summer and she came with me. Now she's a huge Maynard fan and loves Tool and A Perfect Circle. It was an awesome show (my 2nd time seeing them live). I wish I could have seen APC when they were around.
They're probably the only modern rock band I like.
There are some great Youtube live clips from back in the day. I would have loved to have seen them in a small club when they first came out. It would have been great to see crazy, angry Maynard. He's getting a little mellower in his old age, but still rocks.Last edited by born_bad; 11-09-2007, 08:57 AM.Comment

Re: Who likes Tool?
Tool is so good other bands should be ashamed of themselves after they hear them because they will realize they are not 1/100000th as talented.
When I saw them in Bham last May, it was the best live show I've ever been to. Amazing.AUBURN TIGERS

I do agree that I think there more ambitious than most bands in the modern age. To me, there kind of like a 21st century King Crimsonfollow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Re: Who likes Tool?
For those of you who like Tool, make sure to check out Hurt. Pretty much a newer version of Tool, if you will. Amazing music, both hard rock and acoustic. And the lyrics to go with the music are some of the best I've ever heard.Comment

Re: Who likes Tool?
I dont know man, I just listened to a couple of there songs on youtube and they dont really remind me of tool all that much. I think chevelle (a band I also like) sounds more like tool than they do.Comment
