Me playing guitar and singing. Mind you, my voice was shot(recorded the vocals wayyyyyyyyyy too many times due to EQ and mic issues), so they aren't my strongest vocals. I still think it turned out pretty good. I will go back and re-do the vocals once my throat feels up to it.

I hate it when your voice gets screwed like that. It's so ennoying to hear yourself sing. Helps if your singing a song sung by someone with really raspy voice though i.e Chris Cornell

I've played cello for about 17 years, but I picked up the bass guitar about 7 years ago, and play that a little more now.

Ok, thanks a lot. I may need to try that out. Does it just play the midi through the program or do you need like a midi keyboard or something hooked up?

Yes, it does. It basically looks like a staff with 6 lines, and each line is a particular string on the guitar, and I believe it simulates up to 27 frets or something. For instance, the bottom line would be the fat E and the top line would be the skinny E. You can insert notes on them just like tabs and it plays them back so you can create your own stuff. Also, there are tons of instrument recreations and even a percussion one so you can make some drum tracks to go with it. It's just a fantastic learning tool and even a nice composing tool to get ideas out of your head and hear them.

Nope, I am not. I am still trying to learn to play and sing at the same time. That song is fairly simple, so I can do it. More complex stuff I flub on a lot.

Bumping the thread myself now: how do I add a tremolo arm onto my Strat? There's a spot for it on the bridge (covered by a silver sticker), and I have the arm, but does it just screw in? Is there any reason I should avoid doing this? (just got my previous guitar issue resolved no less than a month ago, don't want to mess it up again, heh)

There are a few different kinds of tremolo. Post a pic, and I might have the answer. Take a pic of the hole, and the back end of the tremolo.

I'm assuming that the bar didn't come with the guitar? It should be fine as long as the bar has the same threading as the hole. Some guitars have a different setup for the tremolo. Also, my guitar has locking tuners so I don't have to worry about it, but the tremolo will sometimes play havoc with your tuning.
