    Dr. Strangelove

Any of you all seem it? I've got the movie on DVD and it's one of my favorites. I love when the quote, "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"

One of the great cold war satires ever. You should rent (I believe it's on DVD) Fail-Safe. It takes generally the same premise but does it in all dead seriousness. Henry Fonda was terrific as well as a young Larry Hagman.

Watch Fail-Safe first then watch Dr Strangelove and the biting satire and spoofery will come out more but then you'll realize that it was a topic that was very taboo to be joking around with.

Oh and Fail-Safe contains one of the more sobering ends to a movie i've ever seen.

I don't believe I've seen Failsafe SPTO. I'll have to rent it. Thanks!

I've seen it a handful of times, definitely a fantastic movie. George C. Scott is terrific in it as well as Peter Sellers.
