Re: Your favorite car?
That is a nice car. Do you lease your cars? Is there a reason for that? Reason I ask, I'm definitely looking at the G8 in the future, maybe near future, and just wondering what would be a better option. Lease or Buy?Comment

Re: Your favorite car?
I was actually going to ask the same question.
I'm really intrigued by the loan and buy route, but if leasing works better, I'd definitely look into that.Comment

Re: Your favorite car?
I lease because I don't put many miles on my car, and I like to get a new car every 2 or 3 years. With a lease, I Am only paying for what the time I am using the car, so my down and monthly payments aren't quite as high. Of course, there are mileage limits, (mine is 15,000 per year), and you have to return the car in good condition and I am not really building equity in the car. Now I can purchase the car at the end of the lease for a decent price. My payoff on my $38,500 Z is about $19,000. However I am just going to turn it in, and roll in to a G37 lease I think.
Leasing isn't for everyone, but for me it works out pretty well. At your age, I am not sure if a lease would suit you, nor if you'd be able to qualify, I think or at least in the past, it was tougher to get a lease than a purchase. Not sure if that is still the case.Last edited by bkrich83; 11-24-2007, 01:11 AM.Comment

Re: Your favorite car?
I'm in between on it. I mean hell yeah I want it but there is no confirmed price tag. Not to mention insurance and what not. Addition to that I will have to buy a winter car. I got to see where it all comes down to financially, but if it works. I'm on it.

This car is just freaking beautiful.
I own my Z though. I would lease but I have done a lot of mods to my car... so lease wouldn't work out for me.
The G37 is one sweet ride itself.

Just hope they put some good Xenon projectors in the G37 and GTR. I was never impressed with the HID projectors in Nissans. That is one reason I retrofitted.Comment

Re: Your favorite car?
I'm partial to Audi......
Here is the new R8. Sweet ride. A little pricey, but I can attest that Audi engineering is impeccable. I love their sedans..I can only imagine what one of their sports vehicles would be like.

Re: Your favorite car?
I still have my 2001 Nissan Maxima. 71,000 miles and still in pretty good condition. However, I'd like to trade it in soon.
I'm looking at a Lexus IS350, GS350 and a G37. The GS350 might be a little more than I want to pay, but I'm going to see what I can do. The IS350 is a little smaller than I want, but it's still a great car. The G37 is an excellent car as well. Too many choices!

Re: Your favorite car?
I don't like the Lexus ride. Too soft. I want a car I can drive. Also, imo, you get more car in the G37 than in the IS350, and the G37's cost is actually closer to the IS250 than the IS350.I still have my 2001 Nissan Maxima. 71,000 miles and still in pretty good condition. I am patiently waiting for the 09 Maxima. I have a 07 and my lease ends up around that time.
