Re: Your favorite car?
Where did you get this pic? Looks like the Maxima style in Japan right now. Also looks a lot like the Toyota Avalon styling.Comment

Re: Your favorite car?
The next Maxima is going to have a body style similar to the Mercedes CLS class. Nissan is trying to redefine its direction with the Maxima. I got the pic from a Maxima message board.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: Your favorite car?
Thats good. They needed a change with it since they brought the Altima up to its level pretty much.Comment

Re: Your favorite car?
Beautiful machine, huh?
I have a 2006 A4 and a 2007 A6.
I've been driving one for the past 6 years and each new version is better than the last in some way.
The only thing I still don't like is the climate control. I love to just have the option to turn on the fan with the vents open for outside air. As you know to do that if it's less than 60 degrees out you need to put it on LO and with that I feel like I have the AC on.
I realize they are letting you choose a comfortable cabin temp and it will automatically keep it at that level....but I just like constant fresh air in the cooler seasons.
But that is a minor quibble.
When I was at the dealer last...he showed me the S5 also. That's a pretty nice model also. Could be an option in place of the R8 for price(man that would take a lot of convincing the Mrs.
)
One vehicle I think you guys are going to be hearing a lot about....and I would think of one myself, except I need something AWD(my trip to and from work is FAR) is the new Tesla Roadster. It's an all electric vehicle with an estimated range of 250 miles! It also looks fantastic. They are all spoken for......for the 2008 year( just about every entertainment star is trading their Prius for one I'm sure) so a $30,000 down payment will put you on the waiting list for 2008(if someone cancels) or on the list for 2009. Get this....it gets an equivalent of 135 MPG! and will cost about a penny a mile to drive.
Here are some pics....

If you're really into saving the environment....time to put up....to the tune of $97,000 for the BASE model....WITHOUT A HARDTOP!
