    Taste in music?

Wow the older I get the more I like bands and songs I hated back when I was younger. One band was Pink Floyd. I hated that band with a passion and now I am really starting to like them. Or Led Zeppelin, I couldn't stand that band now I really like them now. What gives music experts? Can you explain this.

Just because I like Creed and Nickelback. Creed sure sold a hell of a lot of records. Also, I was always into bands like Metallica, I grew up with Kirk and I know Billie from Greenday. So maybe that is the reason I like them, I don't know I have been really liking Pink Floyd and I thought that would never happen.

I can give you 10 tons of crap and that doesn't change that it's crap....

Sorry...I just hate Scott Stapp with a passion, Nickelback is pretty close. I liked the first song from both bands...but everything sounds exactly the same after that. Gets soooo annoying.

                  Re: Taste in music?

I never listened to classic jazz or electronic music 20 years ago when I was in my early 20s, instead listening to rock and even some country. Now classic jazz and progressive house are my musical mainstays.

                  Tastes evolve. It's natural.

                  Take care,

                    Re: Taste in music?

I think most people's taste in music changes because they just get tired of listening to a certain type of music.

That could be right. And yeah I can relate PK, I have been getting into Classical music. I really like Bach.

So what makes you an expert. Why don't you share some of the music you listen too and I can say that is crap too. It is all subjectable any ways!

In the words of Pete Townsend(of The Who) "The music must change". Therefore, why can't our taste in music? There's nothing wrong with expanding your musical horizons. I myself,am enjoying the Beatles again after a 20 plus year stretch of leaving them behind.

Creed and Nickleback? My heart weeps for your ears. ;(

At least you can enjoy SOME good music.

The only good thing that ever came from Creed was Stapp leaving and Myles Kennedy joining to create Alter Bridge, who is one of the best bands out there today.

Nickelback, I can't help ya there bro. Pure garbage.
