If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

Re: Hellboy II
Saw the movie tonight. It was much more "light hearted" then the first one. The first one was more dark and gritty. The overall story was alright. The basic concept was cool, but the movie did nothing to wow me. I was actually more impressed with the subtle reminder that Hell Boy is meant to do evil
SpoilerI never read the comments before or anything, but does he eventually turn to "the dark side?"
The movie did a lot to try to sort of push that in our faces subtly with the fact that the human race knew of his existence and disliked him. It would of been great if the crown wasn't actually destroyed, would of done an even better job at letting you in that there is all this power for him if he ever turned to the other side.
Also, about the whole kids thing........hummm i find that sort of strange. Little hell boy jr and his sister running around is sort of funny
I really wouldn't mind seeing him turn bad or do what he's destined to do by sometime n the 3rd movie
The guys did an excellent job with the costumes and character designs. A lot of it really did feel sort of Pan's Labyrinth-ish. Overall though, the movie gave me the Blade 2 vibe. It sort of felt like that some what.Comment

Re: Hellboy II
I'm just curious...
Del Toro wrote and directed the first Hell Boy as well... why have people made such a big deal about him doing the second one? Is it just because of the popularity of Pans Labrynth or do people just not realize?Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? Re: Hellboy II
I was wondering that too. I thought that I was just wrong when I thought that he did the first one but people were acting like he was replacing somebody.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

So I'm watching Hellboy/Ted Danson........
.......... are these two clones? Really? Is Hellboy the spawn of Ted Danson? It's really eerie. REALLY REALLY EERIE.
No way I'm alone in thinking this............ am I ?"Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006Comment

This really didn't deserve it's own thread, but I've always thought the actor looked like Ted Danson and Will Ferrell's love child.

Re: Hellboy II
Circumstances kept me from seeing this on the big screen, but I didn't see this surpassing HB1 at all. It started out with a good base, but with the introduction of more and more characters it lost it's glisten for me. The goofy, campy oriented stuff just didn't resonate in my mind.Comment

Better known to Sons Of Anarchy fans as Clay. He won a Golden Globe for Beauty And the Beast (TV) back in late 80's.Comment
