does it really matter if a rapper/singer is taking steroids?

They should have all their awards revoked if this is true right?

It does when it's illegal and young kids are following in their footsteps and taking steroids.

The real issue is that people think adults are the only ones that use steroids. There are kids in highschool, many many kids the age of 14 and up taking steroids on a regular basis.

          That's scary.

wrong. some steroids cut you up. different types do different things. Some add mass, some rip you up.

doubt LL is on them. He's been working out for 20+ years. I remember he didn't just get big over night.

Wow, DRe is huge. Why do these chumps need to be huge.

Glad to see this bumped back up as I saw a recent video with Wyclef Jean finally.

Um....what happened to the skinny guy I liked so much? he's SOLD OUT!

Didn't want to look like Lauren Hill I guess.

BTW, I don't think you can call Wyclef a sell out really. He's been pretty much on the same path since getting in the game. I respect him for that. If he wants to blow up like a balloon, more power to him. I'd think a guy that plays a bunch of instruments, speaks a bunch of languages and has made hit records could get laid on his own merit but I thought Bonds could break the record on his too so what do I know.

He's sorta sold out musically unless the music video is not indicative of his overall work these days. I'll have to go hunting for some of his more recent work to be sure. I loved his older song "two wrongs". That was a great tune.

But he really hasn't. He really never tried to be in any one place musically... we tried to put him in one place but he's always been everywhere working with everyone, doing all kinds of different things. I liked his older stuff better (can't beat the Fugees) but wouldn't say he's sold out.

Ah I see, Thanks for the clarification. Yes it does seem we tend to pigeonhole people at times when we shouldn't.
