I, personally, type faster with two fingers than I do when I use touch-typing. There are plenty of people who can touch-type a lot faster than I can...I just, personally, can go almost 20 WPM faster when I use only two fingers than when I use all of them. And that's after a year-long class on touch typing, just doesn't work for me personally.

Re: Learning to Type
Yeah, took it in highschool and what I learned has stuck with me. It's often kind of weird being in a technical field and seeing so many people type with 2 fingers.F-L-O-R-I-D-A! S-T-A-T-E! Florida State! Florida State! Florida State! Wooooo!Comment

Re: Learning to Type
I learned to type from "Spooky Teaches Typing" for Windows 3.1 when I was 16. Some of the phrases the main character ghost said still stick with me, like "That's all she wrote." That ghost was really annoying, but at least he taught me to type."We were expecting a miracle with Elite, but instead we got Jesus at halfcourt."

Re: Learning to Type
it just sucks when im trying to type a copy of something...
so i usually just try to memorize the first two lines and just go from there...
I still occasionally glance down at the keyboard though.#SimnationComment
