    Re: Heath Ledger dead?

Police said the masseuse who found Ledger's body Tuesday spent nine minutes making three calls to Olsen before dialing 911 for help.
    Wow.

Why would she spend nearly ten minutes on the phone with Mary-Kate, before calling 911? How stupid can you be?

Actually what I just read in the paper was that his maid called Olsen, who called her bodyguards and sent them over. After she called Olson, she called 911.

Yep, I can relate when my older brother died it was very hard. It is what it is though and you just try to get over it, but you never really do. They say losing a kid or losing a parent are harder, it might be true, but losing a brother or sister is kind of weird, becasuse the same 2 people that made you made them too. So you have a pretty tight bond there.

Before he and Michelle Williams split up they used to live a few blocks from where I live in Brooklyn. Sometimes I would see him in the local shops or riding his bike around. One day I was babysitting my niece and took her to this neighborhood playground and Heath Ledger was there with his daughter Matilda. He and I chatted briefly when the two girls started playing together a bit and I just have to say that he was just such a regular guy, very polite and fit in very well in tony Brooklyn.

            RIP Heath.

I read he really liked in Brooklyn Heights, and had put down money on a brownstone there when he was still with his baby's mother... Can't blame him, the Heights is a great area, if you can afford it.

They split up late last year. I think in...October, or around there.

                      Re: Heath Ledger dead?

Heath Ledger adored Australia, loved helping his friends and never became an actor "for fame or fortune", his father Kim said in a message read to a large gathering of Australians and Hollywood stars in Manhattan tonight.

The unexpected letter sent chills through the 1000 guests inside New York's Waldorf Astoria hotel grand ballroom for the G'Day USA Australia Day Ball.
Kim Ledger asked Australia's consul-general in New York John Olsen to read the letter.

"Heath is, and always will be, an Australian," wrote Kim, who arrived in the US on Friday to escort his son's body back to Perth.

                      "He adored his home.

"His last two weeks with us over Christmas in Perth were just bliss.
"Heath did not become an actor for the fame or fortune.

"He loved his craft and he loved helping his friends.

"He loved chess and skateboarding too.

"My image of Heath in New York is him with his skateboard, a canvas bag and his beanie.

                      "That was Heath to me."

Apparently Michelle Williams broke up with Ledger because of his addiction to heroine and cocaine. Link.

Damn damn damn....now the truth is coming out. I remember when he first died, people were saying "It just doesn't make sense, Heath didn't have a history of using drugs. How could this happen?"

                          Now we see how....

I always knew Williams was my favorite female character on the Creek.

She was the nicest one in person, too. I was going to school and living in Wilmington, NC when that show was in production. Wilmington is such a small town, you can't help but to run into the cast of TV shows and movies that are filming there.

She was EASILY the most down to earth of all of them. Katie Holmes wouldn't talk to anyone. James Vanderbeek thought his crap didn't stink. Josh Jackson was cool too, but he was always trying to get laid. Michelle Williams though, would just blend in like she was one of the locals whenever you'd see her out.

Damn, I almost forgot the show was filmed in NC rather than MA. That's cool to know, TJ. Williams just seems like a cool woman in general. LOL @ Holmes not talking to anyone. I'm not surprised at all.
