F Allah - gets your head chopped off and scorn from PC police
F Budda - reincarnated into a turd and scorn from PC police
F L. Ron Hubbard - you get a visit from Tom Cruise

Saying F Jesus gets you a weeks vacation. Some overreaction.

She talked down Notre Dame. I thought that came with an automatic 100 years in hell.

              Ah thanks for the clarification.

Still, I think its an over reaction by ESPN. I think as long as she apologized to ND and Charlie, she should not have been reprimanded.

well i know i couldnt ever say that, even in a joking manner like she did. I couldnt even type it.

but the entire point of a roast is to offend people. That is what a roast is.

I understand the point of a roast... though usually you are trying to humiliate whomever
the roast is for. Not the being I believe to be the savior of mankind.

I just believe if you are deciding between the sanctity of Jesus and whether to try
to be shocking, the decision is simple for me. If you think that the venue makes
a difference, then I guess we'll have to disagree.

Oh, will if you say so...

That may be the attitude, but it's ridiculous, IMO, to think that since this was done at a roast
                        that there aren't repercussions.

Doesn't bother me and I think her being suspended is stupid.

I agree with the suspension. I don't care if you are at a roast. You are accountable for what you say. Yes, I'm a Christian and that is offensive to me.

I agree man. I would never say that. Someone would have to kill me before i said it...joking or not.

i just dont think she should have been suspended. I dont like how people are suspended left and right for offending people...and ive never heard of someone getting in trouble, or getting suspended, for saying something at a roast.

I won't say I think she shouldn't be suspended. I would say leave it up to ESPN. It's a
business decision for them at this point. If they feel it will adversely affect ratings, they probably want to suspend her or fire her. If not...

You're right. It's up to me as the consumer (with my set of beliefs) to exercise my right to watch or not watch her program(or ESPN altogether) in protest.
