DC, im telling you man, 2 out of your 4 favorite artists have puffed and passed at some point of thier life...you have to know that....unless your basing it on the fact its not on youtube

I believe 4/4 of my favorite artists have puffed and passed. It is all about being broadcasted while doing it. THAT is the issue.

And it's not like she was smoking that "green" stuff you know........
      Concrete evidence/videos please

If your kids are watching Amy Winehouse smoke crack on YouTube, that's not her fault, that's yours.

So now its ok for kids to be desensitized to some illegal drugs but not others? I'm just trying to get to the bottom of your issue. Sure the green stuff isn't as dangerous in many ways as crack (or whatever else she's doing since it may not be crack) but the effect of seeing it is no different, right? I see people smoking weed in magazines, on album covers, in movies... hell Snoop was smoking for 2 hours straight on Flavor Flav's roast on regular tv. Last I checked that was just as illegal as crack.

But I don't think you care about the legality which brings me to my original point... how does her doing any drugs affect you, your kids or kids in general? Any damage done is to herself and those around her. She's certainly not making it appear glamorous... she looks like death.

It sounds like you're saying that kids might think that since Amy can smoke crack and still win grammys then they can do the same thing. Problem is 1)there is no way even those most naive kid could gather that her smoking crack improved her voice and/or helped her win a grammy and 2) if the kid is debating what they may or may not be able to continue doing after becoming a crackhead then the problem exists long before Amy could show them the light.

green, white, purp.......its all drugs homey, cant put one over the other....
as far as BROADCASTING....all those artists broadcast it on the radio in thier songs, so in essence its the same thing....

I think making it "cool" through music is WAY worse then looking stupid while doing it if anything

Your argument fails unless you want to say that murder is as illegal as smoking pot.

I'm still friends with him. I saw him about month ago. He was a trip. He had blue hair in HS and sold weed during lunch. We called him the dimebag man. lol He is hell of cool and no one ever made fun of him, because his older brother would beat your ***. Dave was like the king of the school, so no one messed with Billie. He was very talented though as a kid. He had made a record at age 10. I hung out with him a lot, but when he went and got his hair blue. I kind of back away. lol Especially when he quit football to practice his music. I know Mike too. We all go up together in Rodeo. It is a small town and Billie was in my grade and I met him in kindergarten. Drugs were pretty heavy in his life. He is finally clean, at least that is what I hope, you never know with drugs.
One more his sister Holly was so freaking fine. She was a legend around Rodeo, she had to be the most finest girl I have ever seen. She look like Farrah Fawcett and this was back in the 70's, so she was the it girl.

I haven't really followed any awards show in a while, but how does this work? For example, you read on many internet sites and forums about the best album of the year and it's some relatively obscure stuff, and you see these movie awards shows and a lot of times a lesser known film wins. I watched some of this show and it was pretty much just all the popular artists winning? WTF? People winning that don't even write their own material is crazy. Are the Grammy's just a big ego stroking event to bring the most popular musicians together and get ratings?
