she won at least 3 grammys and was nominated for a crapload. I dont get why she is getting so much critical acclaim.

I am about to hurl watching her perform, though I must say, I was expecting a train wreck. She looks reasonably under control.

lol my expectations were pretty low also...maybe that is why the performance seemed good.

Ah I see, well it all comes down to personal tastes in that regard I guess. I think all the acclaim was deserved, her album was great. That was funny when she won record of the year, she kept staring at the screen ala a deer in headlights.

I didn't realize Kanye actually won one, I guess Gill's comment wasn't really a burn. That's the first time I've seen Winehouse perform where I could make out what she was singing.

You know what? I actually did. I thought "Okay she might kill herself somehow tonight." Possibly in celebration. I really hate that I thought of that so qucikly too.

YES it matters what she does off the court when it comes to winning awards.

BAD job whoever votes for these damn Grammys; sending out a BAAAAAAAAD message to the kids with this one man.
