If they started punishing musical artists for drug use, they wouldn't be many left.

I feel a certain kind of way about her reaping any benefits for ANYTHING considering her current "image."

YES it matters what she does off the court when it comes to winning awards.

BAD job whoever votes for these damn Grammys; sending out a BAAAAAAAAD message to the kids with this one man.

Get high as a damn horse on YouTube and you can still be a winner in our world. No good man. No goood

So whoever has the best image should be given the award? Gimme a break...

Anyways, my judgement on the two categories I care about:

Best Hard Rock Performance Nominees
Sweet Sacrifice by Evanescence
The Pretender by Foo Fighters(actually won)
I Don't Wanna Stop by Ozzy Osbourne
Sick, Sick, Sick by Queens of the Stone Age
The Pot by Tool (Should have won)

Best Metal Performance Nominees
Nothing Left by As I Lay Dying
Never Ending Hill by King Diamond
Aesthetics of Hate by Machine Head
Redemption by Shadows Fall
Final Six by Slayer (Win!)

Glad he won.

In the end, it was a pretty good awards show. Nothing special. That Cirque du Soleil performance was pretty awesome. So was Alicia Keys and Andrea Bocelli.

The best part of the show so far was the Beatles compiliation with Cirque de Soleil.

Best performance for me was Beyonce and Tina Turner, with much emphasis on Tina Turner. She tore it up. Old girl was looking good too for her age, and still moving well.

Winehouse's Grammys were well deserved. This is one of the few times when Grammy voters actually "got it."

It's also good that Winehouse got her haul of Grammys this year, because she may not live to see next year's ceremony.
