Anyone addicted to the History channel
I used to laugh at my uncle about 5 years ago because he always had the tv tuned to the History Channel. Even though I recieved my degree in history I just never found the history channel interesting. But now thier lineup is alot better then some of the garbage on tv right now. They have the Human Weapon show which is cool and the History of the Gun Gangland History on the Universe just a whole bunch of different shows that really are pretty cool shows. Anybody else caught HC fever.Last edited by BigTigLSU; 02-11-2008, 07:23 PM.Tags: None -
Re: Anyone addicted to the History channel
I have been, along with TLC, Discovery, and Discovery Health. Lately though I've been watching other stuff (NatGeo HD, other HD channels). I'm a High Def snob now and my stupid cable company is waiting until March to get us more HD. I'm hoping History HD and others are coming. Otherwise I'll consider somehow switching to DirecTvNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818 -

Great channel. I've loved this channel for years, but I've always digged studying history. I enjoy watching the Mlitary channel, and Discovery too."What I would like for every football team to do that we play is to sit there and say, I hate playing against these guys." -Nick SabanComment

Re: Anyone addicted to the History channel
it depends on what mood the history channel is in. the mood swings on the channel happen quite frequently. lately they've been in that end of the world mood ... not my style. i still love shows like mail call, cities of the underworld, and modern marvels though.Individuality: Always remember that you are unique. Just like everybody else.

Re: Anyone addicted to the History channel
Used to watch it a lot, in fact I taped it pretty regularly in the old VCR days. Fascinating stuff. from amazing footage of the building of the Empire State Building to the construction of our country's roads.Comment

Re: Anyone addicted to the History channel
I like the History Channel but they've been showing way too many End of the World shows back to back to back so I haven't seen it in a long time. Discovery, The Food Network and AMC(for Breaking Bad) is pretty much all I watch on tv.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Anyone addicted to the History channel
End of the World shows is why I watch the History channel.
I pretty much never watch tv, but when I do, 80% of the time it's history channel.

It's interesting how learning programs like the History Channel improve as we age?
