I went out about 8 to check things out, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. So I set up my tripod, and took a few shots of the moon. Go back out about 9:30-10:00, and wouldn't you know it. Completely cloudy.. I'll post the first couple shots from earlier in the evening. Hopefully someone here was able to capture it.

I'm supposed to be drawing pictures of the moon at 10-15 minute intervals for my astronomy class, but without binoculars or a camera, it's kind of difficult. Still is cool to look at, though.Comment

Looks beautiful under clear, cold skies here in upstate N.Y. Went for a 1.5-mile walk in 15-degree temps tonight, smoking a delicious Romeo Y Julieta cigar, and watching the eclipse.
A very pleasant night.
