LMAO, The Happening review at HD Digest. Hysterical
After boring the masses with ‘The Village’ and confounding even his most fervent fans with ‘Lady in the Water,’ writer/director M. Night Shyamalan brings us ‘The Happening,’ a film so devoid of vision and purpose that I’m beginning to wonder if the former Hollywood wunderkind is deliberately trying to make the worst film of all time.In one scene, Wahlberg freezes at the sight of a plant until it’s revealed that, whew, it’s just a plastic decoration. In another laugh-riot, the camera slowly pushes in on a patch of blood-curdling… grass blowing in a light breeze. Frightening, I know.LMAO, great stuff. Watched this a few months ago, terrible, terrible movie that I stopped watching it half way though.Honestly, I can’t think of any more adjectives to properly describe the unadulterated waste of time and money that is ‘The Happening.’ -

Do you have the incredible hulk yet? I havent seen it and I'm waiting on your review...Thanks Pared. Something that I was working on the last few months.
It's a shame that they did this to a film that wasn't as bad as many made it out to be. Please no Indy V.
BTW, I did receive Sweeney Todd yesterday from Paramount, so I should have a review up Monday or Tuesday.Comment

That one I won't have till release date, only studio support that I am missing is from Universal. I am still working on getting review discs from them.
But here is a site with a smaller review, but he has the film already http://www.blu-news.comComment

The BD Version is worth it as you get both version compared to 1 version on the HD DVD.Comment

Your answer is yes, its the same. Except now you get both cuts of the film in HD as opposed to the HD DVD which had the theatrical cut in HD and the director's cut in SD. Plus you get a DTS-HD MA lossless mix with the Blu-ray version which is a tad bit better on this release than the DD+, but Universal didn't take advantage of the soundfield with the new audio mix.

Can't wait, alot of nice blu-rays coming out towards the end of 08.Generation Kill coming to the BLU
Most of us found it weird when HBO announced 'Generation Kill' for a DVD release, but no Blu-ray release despite playing on HBO's HD channel. Well, you'll be happy to hear that HBO Home Entertainment in conjunction with Warner Home Video have announced that they will bring 'Generation Kill' to Blu-ray on December 15th, day-and-date with the DVD release.
The only specs we do know at this time is that it will be a three-disc set, but we should learn more soon.XBL: DTX3
