Ah well what people dont realize is that that while SXSW is going on, mostly every band is playing free shows. So really all you have to spend is a plane ticket/hotel to austin and find the free shows. The free shows also have free food and beer.

Even better! I just need to get the time off to do it. That's the problem.

Always wanted to go down for that. A couple of my buddies went down two years ago and said it was great.

Man just got through glancing at the who's playing at Bonnaroo this year and I must say that's the best lineup since the year The Dead, Dave Matthews, and Dylan were all there. By far the best comedy acts they have ever had. Tempted to go just to see Chris Rock.

            The Lupe concert was incredible.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I bet. Besides, obviously, AVA being the best band of the bunch.. I absolutely cannot stop listening to Bend to Break by The Color Fred. It's a pretty good album with a few good hits, but some of the songs are pretty hit or miss. Give it a listen if you're able to.

What got me about the show was that I love every band in the lineup. AVA, Color Fred, Meg and Dia, and Ace Enders.

They're doing a bunch of shows in the Southern California area and each night will be a specific "era" of their albums. Can't WAIT!

....in 3 hours: Sick Puppies, Saving Abel, and Dropping Daylight at the House of Blues in Cleveland. I still haven't bought a ticket cause I have to work at 7 AM back here in Kent (an hour from Cleveland), so things will be interesting if I go. Hmm....
