Cheap (even used) receiver - where to get?
The stereo receiver I use with my 360 went kaput this weekend. I don't use a whole lot, mainly for Rock Band and if I want to listen to music in our extra bedroom. I'm looking for a cheap replacement (under $50). I've checked Craigslist and there wasn't anything for sale in our area. The shipping cost makes eBay kinda pointless. The cheapest the big box stores carry is $100. Anybody know somewhere I can find a cheap receiver?Tags: None -

My cousin is selling an older 5.1 Yamaha receiver, want me to check up with him how much? He lives in Palmdale here in So Cal.The stereo receiver I use with my 360 went kaput this weekend. Nah, that's ok. The shipping alone would probably make it not worth it. Thanks though.
Guess I'll just hope I get lucky on craigslist.Comment

Go into a CC or BB and ask if you can buy one of the floor models. A few summers ago I got a Sony model that was $150 new for $75, I know that's above your budget but just a suggestion."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Not a bad idea. I'll have to give that a try. Thanks.Comment
