Yeah, its why I normally don't watch this. They usually find a way to go to far.

It wasn't too far. Well, not if you're buying the whole concept of the episode in the first place. But, if you're offended by the grandma scene, well then South Park is obviously not for you.

Which is why I don't watch it normally. I accidently saw it after watching Colbert. I haven't seen a whole episode in about a year. And have never made a habit of looking at it. But I don't think you should be joking about the death of someone like that while the family is still grieving. Extremely bad taste.

I'm thinking that they filmed two episodes, one in case either candidate won, and then put together the stuff from the speeches today, and only had those few minutes to put together to make the episode work.

See, it doesn't bother me because they have done so much worse that this seems like absolutely nothing. I don't even look at South Park in the terms of "good taste or bad taste," because 95% of the time the jokes are made in bad taste. Doesn't make them any less funny to me, and I still laughed at the grandma part last night.

Here's what I would think: If I was in that family, what would be my reaction? I'm sure they have alot on their minds & wasn't staying up @ night to watch S.Park. But if someone made a joke about my grandmother who just died 2 days ago, I'd be pissed.

Not a great episode. The diamond heist portions were boring as hell and often not funny. The parts with Stan's dad and the rest of the Obama supporters were hilarious though.

I wish South Park pushed the envelope even more.

I missed last nights episode though.

Same could be said about: people with Tourette's syndrome, AIDs, homeless people, the special Olympics, religious people, etc.

South Park has been known to push the envelope, to make jokes about serious topics that make some people laugh and others become disgusted, so on and so forth. You said it yourself - you don't watch the show, and I think you know why. You don't find it funny, you seem to fall on the more "offensive" side of things.

I thought it was pretty good. Comedic shots fired at both political sides with a decent movie spoof. At the very least I thought it was much better than the 2 episode Cloverfield spoof. Could be because I never saw Cloverfield though.

People often make jokes about themselves. That's one thing. So to each his own on that. But saying the dead loved one you saw suffering during their last days was faking it, that's too much.

Okay. I think it's pretty obvious. You didn't like the joke and you don't like South Park.

I didn't even know the grandma was really dead. Then coming here and reading that after just watching it I couldn't remember what part was even being referenced at first. So it's not like it was a main plot point.

Cartman had the best line even though he only had one.
