I thought when it happened that she wasn't dead and they just did that to push his buttons. So I could believe it, but they need to do it right and give a reasonable explaination.

I just find it odd that they try to kill her off three times, and now they want her back.

Season 1: She was supposed to die from the Morphine OD. They cancelled that as Robin Tuney (Veronica) said she wanted out, so they killed her instead.

Season 3 - Part A: She was originally supposed to be killed off around episode 13, to give Michael the motivation to go after The Company.

Season 3 - Part B: She was killed off early due to Sarah Wayne Callies not wanting to come back.

Season 4: She is alive.

If this was Lost then she could be in flashbacks and everything would be golden.

But, it's Prison Break and I'm not entirely surprised. Funny thing is, when I read the thread title I immediately knew it had to be Sara still being alive. That's why I didn't fear clicking and reading.

It was the only obvious spoiler that would really piss someone off.

Who said? Lincoln?

How do we really know what he saw. Was it fake? He opened the box, looked inside, and then left. I didn't see him pick it up and verify it was her or if it was even real.

Yeah. Gretchen basically said, "You screwed up Lincoln, here's your punishment."

As soon as he saw the head in the box, the most logical explanation would have been to assume it's Sara's. It's not like he would expect someone else's head to be in the box, as how would that be punishment? And who wants to open a box, and see a head, then spend the next ten minutes verifying who it is.

It was just a logical assumption. The Company says you will be punished, you open a box and see a head of a brunette similar to Sara...you automatically assume it's her. I for one wouldn't sit there and stare at the head to make sure it's her, I'd just assume it.

Hell, The Company shot that one Brunette in Season 2 and just assumed it was Sara. They thought they had killed her up until she contacted Bruce. If The Company can make that mistake, why can't Lincoln?

I can't remember, but didn't LJ say he saw them kill Sara right in front of him?

He said one of these three things.

1) He closed his eyes while they killed her in the same room, and he could hear her screaming. (I think this is what he said, I think he said he closed his eyes).

2) They took her out of the room, and he could hear her screaming while they did it.

3) They took him out of the room, and he could hear her screaming.

Either way, he didn't technically see her being beheaded, but he did say he heard her screaming.

I'm sure everything will be explained next season (LJ seeing/hearing her die, Lincoln mistaking who it was, where she's been, etc..). These are very talented writers, and they know what they are doing.

It may be confusing now, but I have confidence in the writing staff. They'll make it work.

They hinted this during the last episode so this is not a surprise to me. I forget one of the last lines of the show but it went something like, "if Michael finds outs then Gretchin could be a weak link" or something like that.
