Did anyone else watch "The Last Frakkin' Special"?

I caught the special. Basically, it's a behind-the-scenes look at the series. Might contain some spoilers though with regards to the finale but nothing major.

I actually haven't watched the past three episodes just so I can watch the finale in my own little marathon to end the series. And yes, the fact that it really is coming to an end is kinda depressing.

The best damn show that everyone should be watching. At least they're going out on their own terms. How often can we say that about great, smart, & exciting shows that nobody watches?

I've got the special recorded and I'll be recording the ending on Friday. I don't know when I will actually be able to watch it though as there is a lot of basketball on the next few weekends.

Are you kidding me? The Battlestar Galactica Finale is much more important than any college basketball game...I really can't believe I just said that.

I watched the special. Interesting stuff. Very cool to hear some of the actors talking off the set. I totally forgot Jamie Bamber was British. His American accent in the show is excellent. I'm gonna miss this show a lot.

A Masterpiece.

That sums it up for me. The end of the greatest television series I've personally ever witnessed.

And if you didn't cry like a baby in the final 30 minutes..you have no soul.

I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but folks who missed out on Battlestar Galactica missed out on one of the great pieces of cinema ever put on a TV screen or in a movie theater.

Brilliant writing, acting, music, plot...the works from beginning to end. A Masterpiece.

Wasn't though! You know, a lot had to be answered in 120 minutes, and they did it without rushing it or making it cheesy. I was numb after it was over, and so sad that it is over.

At least we have a 2-hour "movie" in the fall.

Never watched it before... I'm in the iTunes store right now thinking about buying the mini-series and season one with some gift cards...

What can this show be compared to, and is it worth the 40 bucks I'm about to throw down on it without ever seeing even one episode or clip.

It really can't be compared to anything. Extremely original in both concept and plot.

It's worth 400 bucks. It's the best television series I have ever watched. Period.

I can't really endorse it anymore than that. Get it. Watch it.

I honestly don't know if there is/was anything that it can be compared to. It's rather unique. It will suck you in, Linty. Just watch every episode at some point. It's worth the coin you'll spend.

The finale was awesome. All really was revealed. Definitely going to miss the show. Watching BSG was always something I could look forward to each week. If I DVR'd an episode, I always watched it as quickly as possible and I can't say the same about the other shows I love and record as well. Will definitely miss it.

What a frakkin' masterpiece.

I never thought that a show I just happened to check-out one day 'cause I saw an awards show it was nominated in a few months ago would turn-out to be the best 4 year movie I'd ever witnessed. And now, everything else just seems so second-rate compared to this overwhelmingly unnoticed (by the general viewers) yet greatly appreciated (by just about everyone who's seen it) study of the human condition -- warts and all -- entitled Battlestar Galactica.

Thanks for the wonderful ride, Galactica.

Maybe one day, we'll get to experience this again. After all, "All this has happened before, and all this will happen again."
