Hah, next week's looks like it will be fun. I knew Matt had it in him to just snap -- hopefully it's finally the end for him, because he irritates me.. with his eyebrows...

Jen was in full-blown biotch mode eh? At least they eventually regained control of the team... the girls got a nice prize at the end there haha...

Oh yeah. Watching Matt RUN to the kitchen?

      GOLD.

I cannot stand Jenn, week after week I hope the depths of hell open up and swallow her whole. I don't get why any of the others don't just tell her to STFU as soon as she opens her mouth. From what I've seen so far no one really deserves to win.

Haha yeah, watching these people fumble basic things and cooking steaks badly over and over again is rough... I watched Top Chef shortly after I finished watching this one and there's no comparison. These people are barely passable line cooks, not chefs. Bobby might be the exception, but even he can't seem to put together consistent performances.

The look on Ramsay's face when LouRoss told him about Jen's zucchini and squash-wrapped halibut was classic. That menu sounded absolutely terrible, especially after a solid showing from the Red Team.

Speaking of Top Chef, who likes that show? Lacks Ramsay calling everyone c***s, but the competition and quality of chefs/food is worlds better. Everyone was on Richard Blaise to win from early on (I loved Andrew myself, dude's comedy) including me, but I think that Stephanie will pull it off and be the first female top chef... she's got the skills and the consistency. Antonia is a favorite of mine because she's of the "simple and tasty" school rather than the "blow your mind with molecular gastronomy" school... but I think her chops and technical skill aren't quite up to the level they normally want for Top Chef.

I pretty much dislike everybody except Bobby. Bobby doesn't give me a "piss-me-off" vibe like the others do. Petrozza and LouRoss the same, but they made too many chuckleheaded decisions, I had to get pissed at them lol.

Honestly Bobby is the only one I think who can legitimately win this prize, just like Rock last year. It's like they only attempt to find one half way decent chef who could run his own restaurant, surround him with some total bafoons and use this show as a way to make a name for him. I fully believe Rock was ordained the winner last year before filming even began, and I think the same holds true for Bobby this year. I also believe this to be true because with either one they never showed a tremendous mistake.

Yeah Bobby just seems like he has a solid grasp on most things and isn't a total douchebag to work with. You can tell that he's the only one to actually run a kitchen in the way he acts -- tends to take control of things but does it without pissing everyone off like Jen.

Petrozza is my dude on this show though -- he's a sloppy bastard but he seems to always get the job done... and he's been a real stand-up guy with the decisions he's made.

LMAO at Bobby: "Matt's gone Full Metal Jacket on us"

He is probably my favorite contestant ever on this show with the way he laughs his *** off at people and never gives Ramsay a reason to really yell at him. He diffuses every confrontation by laughing and staying calm, it's genius.

I'm surprised Gordon's been so hard on Christina lately, but maybe he just wants to beat her down and see how she responds. I like this season becuase the remaining chefs all seem competent and it really is going to come down to who executes.

I honestly can't believe Matt lasted that long, he's terrible. I mean, the guy make Chef Ramsey throw up on the first day!!

                      Re: Hell's Kitchen: Season 4

Yeah, they definitely kept dude around for entertainment value. He made that one good risotto and that was it -- the rest of his services were horribly botched and his individual dishes were terrible (that white chocolate/prawn/quail egg thing he made was the absolute worst dish I think I've ever heard of). I get so mad every time I see his stupid frowny face.. haha, score one for the Fox network execs.

Bobby seems like the obvious choice since he actually has chef experience in a real restaurant (just like Rock). Petrozza makes great food but he's a calm older dude and probably not assertive enough to be a head chef (plus, he's a self-admitted pig in the kitchen). Christina is still too inexperienced to lead a kitchen of cooks who have likely been cooking professionally longer than she has (would've been the same problem with Bonnie winning last season). Jen definitely has skills and the drive for it, but she's such a burden inter-personally that I couldn't see her leading a team with any kind of cohesiveness.

The individual challenge last night showed that they can at least cook their own ideas properly. Seems like many of them struggle with making Ramsay's food to his standards, but I question how hard it is to get steaks the right temperature and simple stuff like that that any legit chef should be able to do by feel before even coming onto the show. The Top Chef contestants are still head and shoulders above the Hell's Kitchen contestants.

That episode was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a reality show. I was absolutely dying.

Is it that hard to listen to an order Mr. Potato Head? LOL.

Bobby is going to win it.
