What is it that you are trying to prove? And more importantly, who are you trying to prove it to?

Tell me, if your mom or grandmother asked you to hold a purse or run to the store for feminine products, would you give them the manly speech? Or would they simply know their place?

Not if you read my previous post like I said its all about respect, you get what you put in. If the girl is obviously childish enough to play those games why you there in the first place?? Stop dealing with high school in the brain and find a real WOMAN. Who can bring more to the table than a nice butt and a smile.

Plain and simple, being courteous to women. I don't think its a complicated thing.

I don't see why people are getting so into this whole question. If your wife/girlfriend/mom/sister/etc asks you to hold her purse while she's trying on a jacket or something, I can't believe people are going to refuse. I can see saying no if your girl just wants you to hold onto her purse 'cause she's lazy - thats a completely different story. I asked my girl to hold onto my hoodie while I was trying on suit jackets last week - its the same thing to me. Why should I expect her to do something for me when I wouldn't do the same for her?

Just to let you guys know there are different scenarios if a girl (just met) and yourself go to a party/club together and you are being eyed up by different females and she pulls the hold my bag trick then YES she is to be avoided and the DC, Vick, and 500 rules apply

but if she is woman enough to know she should be comfortable in her own skin and the other females really don't matter for the night than sure when the time came if her bag needs to be held for whatever reason situation permitting then once again I'd hold it

The belief that men and women have their own roles is stupid. If my gf wants me to hold my purse, I do. Just like if I ask her to hold my coat when I try something on she will. It's a matter of being a decent human being.

Hell, a woman puts basically they're entire life in their purse. It'd be pretty careless for them to just set it down when they try something on. Would you set your wallet on the floor when you try something on at the mall? Alot of thiefs in today's world.

People who think women should just clean, cook, etc are the ones who view women as just objects. Today's world everyone is equal. Both men and women cook, clean, bring home paychecks, take care of the kids, etc. It's the 21st century, people.

no i just don't like following this so called "civilized society" and this so called "mainstream mindset" that believes equality is woman having the advantages of both men and themselves. my bad for putting too much logic in my thoughts(or thinking for that matter) and making too much sense, i should just listen to this "civilized society" and not question it.
