So I downloaded Pandora last night. It's not bad. I find that if I type in my favorite bands/artists they usually provide as steady stream of music I like.

My question is to EG, but also to others who may have the service. I was suprised that the audio was so loud and clear on Pandora.

Is the MLB Gameday audio just as clear and loud as Pandora? I ask because sometimes I found the MLB at Bat 2009 audio on the Ipod Touch to be a little low for my taste when volume was maxed.

Pandora has always been loud. MLB Game Audio is actually louder to me, I have to have it on the 2nd to lowest setting when I have headphones on or my ear drums will burst. LOL

Just remember, the MLB app for BlackBerry is nothing like the iPhone one. It's audio, nothing more.

Yeah, I am kind of disappointed in that aspect, but it still would be nice to listen to games while I'm outside of wifi areas.

Doesn't bother me, I can't think of one time I actually looked down at my iPod to look at anything while listening. Usually while I'm at home doing yardwork I'd have a game on. Now I do it with my phone, get the same result.

Yeah. I used the MLB at Bat for video highlights post game. Other than that it was strictly gameday audio for me.

I like Pandora, but why limit me to only 6 skips an hour?

I like most of the music, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood.

Gotta jump into this thread. I've had a Storm for about 6 months now and I freakin' love it. Disappointed that the Storm 2 is going away from the click touch screen. That's probably the main thing I like better about this phone than the iPhone.

I like most of the music, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood.

Not sure if thats per channel or not but create multiple channels Chubby

That way you can skip all day if you want

Gotta jump into this thread. I've had a Storm for about 6 months now and I freakin' love it. Disappointed that the Storm 2 is going away from the click touch screen. That's probably the main thing I like better about this phone than the iPhone.

I would be more disappointed they are going to a storm 2 already instead of making the current one better with software updates.

Current one was a complete bust for Verizon. Didn't sell as well as expected, issues all over the place, and poor user tests for it. They are basically just killing it off and going to a more iPhone type phone, I'd probably be more interested in the Storm 2 if they get rid of that ridiculous clicking crap. TJ might be the only person I've met that likes that. LOL

I hate on the phone, but it's a cool phone, just don't find it very functional compared to my Curve.

Is everything the same on the Storm like the Curve? Facebook, email's, etc all updated on the top of the screen letting you know when you get new updates? If not, I hope they add that to the Storm 2 as well.

Yeah, new message icons and updates like missed calls and alarms/appointments all appear at the top like the curve. It's basically the same setup, even most of the menus follow the same design, but instead of trackball navigation you use your thumb.

I didn't mind the keyboard that much when I played around with one. After playing for awhile I could get pretty fast at it. The problem I had with it was the same I had with the LG Dare, my fingers were too big for certain tasks.

Now my Ipod Touch I can have huge fingers and type almost perfectly on. I'm thinking if the Storm 2 goes the flat piece of non-moving glass approach it could be a pretty solid phone.

Switched to Verizon today and picked p the Storm. I personally love it. After having an iPhone for over a year, this is a very welcome change.
