Pretty amped for the Storm 2. Has WiFi and no click-touch screen. Glad to finally rid myself of my LG Env for a internet savy phone.

Does it have WiFi? I don't remember reading that. Got a link?

(Not doubting you, just would really like to read up on it)

Yessir, I checked cnn.cn and they have the blacked out housing! I just want my bottom cover to still have the verizon logo though. I could black it out save for the bottom cover, which will still be silver with the vzw logo, but that might look odd.

Is it pretty easy to swap out the housing? I may just order a new stock vzw housing from cnn.cn. The primary reason I want to change anyway is because I have a few nicks and scratches on the outer edges. Maybe get a new stock housing and change the trackball to black. Oh yeah!!!!

Yes it was pretty easy. The hardest part for my phone was transferring the mute and standby controls from top of the phone. Just some little stickies that have to be carefully removed. I bought the T6 screwdriver and case opening tool and it was easy. Now I feel confident to go in a clean/change my trackball.

Cool! I may order the stuff Friday and overhaul my 8330 next week.

How is everybody liking the latest Verizon upgrade? I love the fact that they have finally done something with being able to select a single letter.

                  .148?

It works fine for me. I've noticed less lag in some applications. Did have an instance where I went to take a picture and the whole phone crashed, but other than that no problems.

I guess thats it - it just popped up on my menu Monday when I got home from work. I also like how the side buttons/screen don't do anything when the screen is locked.

Which Verizon upgrade? Also, what do you gentlemen have your vertical and horizontal trackball sensitivity settings on? Vertical seems fine on the default 70 but horizontal is difficult to move the cursor backward on that value.

                      Thoughts?

I think I bumped mine up to 80/80 on my old curve and found it better. Give it a shot.

And we're talking about the Verizon Storm OS Update.

Cool! I'm still debating on whether to buy this Storm or not. It may not even be a reality because sometimes this fellow who is supposed to have the cousin selling it will tell you something then you'll never hear about it again. I was supposed to be able to buy Monday and here it is Thursday.

Man I'm loving this phone...can see why it's called CrackBerry (great site btw lol), I'm addicted.

Opera Mini is an awesome browser...love how it loads the entire page and you can zoom and scroll as you please.

As far as other apps. go, Google Maps is pretty sweet...got that along with WeatherBug Direct and FlyCast, just started messing around with that now. I had Pandora but I want to see what FlyCast is about.

Found a cool Bold L theme...sleek and nice looking on my phone. I wish I could get my name at the top of the homescreen instead of "T-Mobile" but I haven't figured out how to do that, if it's even possible.
