The Curve was great for its time. The phone is what 3 years old already so of course it's not gonna hold up now. I think it's still one of the best looking BB's today. The Torch looks dope though.

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
I dont know much about this phone yet since its like spanking brand new.
Im sure it wont be any less harder to navigate through than the Palm Pre which I havent heard people having navigate problems with.
Again like I said, if you know blackberry then im sure this wont be too far from it besides the new operating system 6.0. I'd say look that up to see what new functions it has. I think it'll be a great phone especially since they learned touch screen mistakes from the storm.Comment

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
So I am now officially apart of Team Blackberry now after buying this phone and getting a good deal on it as well
I'll be back later with my take on it once I get the hang of it. I'm gonna miss using my stylus on my old Fuze though#RespectTheCultureComment

Did you get the Torch? Let me know what you think. I am either getting a Iphone4, Captivate or the Torch. I love the real key board and that goes a long way with me.Comment

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
I like it so far, very responsive compared to what I had before(HTC Fuze). Still in the process of hooking this up but I haven't had much time due to Work and Madden. Anybody recommend any sites I should use as far as getting apps and whatnot on it?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
BlackBerry Torch sales for RIM were underwhelming according to Goldman Sachs. The handset for AT&T was purchased mainly by BlackBerry owners upgrading.

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
To be honest with you Somiss. It sounds like it to compete with the other phones. At a least according to the final verdict on that link you gave us. Verdict
The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is far from flawless, but it still brings a lot of new features to the table; in fact, I would say that it’s the variety of improvements (rather than the depth of them individually) that make the BlackBerry 9800 Torch and specifically OS 6 a reasonable success. I’m still unconvinced that people are going to start hucking their EVOs into a lake and head over to the nearest AT&T store for a Torch, but for people who are still packing a Bold 9000 (like me) and are closing in on the end of their contract, the 9800 will be a huge upgrade. For those new to the smartphone thing and are assessing their options, the BlackBerry Torch 9800 will be able to sit earnestly beside Android and iPhone devices while not looking entirely out of place.
I’d recommend the BlackBerry Torch 9800 to hardened bureaucrats who have grown jaded with the smartphone that has in many ways defined their professionals lives, and to new users considering a jump into the smartphone game. The updated user interface and reorganized setup menus make life a lot easier for the noobies, and bundled instructional videos show all of the basics.Comment
