Well, only baseball is involved. The NFL realizes that fantasy football has made their league even more lucrative. How many non fantasy fans buy NFL Sunday Ticket?Comment

This is also a big win for text sim games such as OOTP. It means they can publish a roster that contains real player names and ratings.Comment

Re: Big Win for Fantasy Sports Fans
How is this different from video games then...is it just the likenesses? Couldn't a game put out a roster where they didn't look like the guy but had his name and not require the Player's Association license? I guess I don't see the big difference between OOTP names and Madden or MLB names, you know?Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Big Win for Fantasy Sports Fans
I don't think their "non decision" is as far reaching as that. Although player's stats were not considered MLB's intellectual property because they were "readily available" in the paper and online, a player's ratings and abilities are a different animal.Comment
