I wonder if it will be less of a memory hog. I got just this one browser open and it is running 73,000 kbs. Opera uses like 15-20 max. I just like firefox way more though. I'll most likely get it right away though.

Hmmm, what's puzzling is that I have both IE7 running right now and Firefox 2.0 and IE is using 38mb and Firefox is using 126mb.

Yeah, there's no way that graph is accurate. IE 7 is crap compared to Firefox 2, but FF 2 is a massive memory pig.

I'll be downloading it when it comes out. I prefer FF over any other browser, even if it does take up a lot of memory.

Those graphs are always without extensions, those will always bloat FF. The new Opera that came out last week (9.5). Is great, though it still has problems with sites coded towards IE instead of towards web standards.

They must have polled it with multiple instances of IE7 running. H2H, in no way do the two compare in terms of memory usage.

I'll be passing. The "awesome bar" is a complete waste. I don't need my bookmarks coming up when I go to type in an address. What's even more ridiculous is many beta-testers ask for the ability to turn it off and they REMOVED the ability.

How dense can they be?

Ad-block extension enabled with only 2 tabs, I'm at 142 MB.

No way ad-block causes 50 mb worth of bloat.

I've been using the release candidates for FF3 for weeks now,without a hitch.
My mission critical extensions are all compatible,so it's been very smooth.
FF3 is faster and uses alot less resources.The best browser got much better.
