Maybe we should retitle this the 50 Cent Appreciation Thread.

Mannie Fresh made some hard beats that match anything on a G-Unit album and the production team that produced No Limit's hits in their prime are some of the biggest producer names in the industry now.

Strictly opinion by both you and me.
Mannie Fresh made some great beats (some were just annoying), but the problem was people rarely came correct on them. Still Fly, Back that *** Up, Down South, and a few others were hot, but on others (specifically Bling Bling) the whole click came incorrect aside from Turk.

For more old G-Unit, Let Me In was great. All the versions on You-Tube are disabled from embedding though.

Baby and Mannie were pretty terrible. I thought Juvie and BG were very good polished MC's while Turk and Wayne were green but good at what they were used for (teenage girls).

400 Degreez was up there with GRODT, IMO. Really not a skippable track on the album. They had some other real solid albums from their first run it started to get old.

Funny stuff here. 50 is far from overrated. He's an arrogant prick, but a talented one... just not as talented as he (or RandyMoss here) thinks he is. I got a feeling the quality of his tracks will continue taking a sharp nose dive since the Vitamin Water deal. Can't really blame him, dude could retire to a deserted island and live fat for the rest of his life. But it should still be called what it is... garbage. He'll probably sneak a good song out every now and then, still make some good hooks, but that's about it.

I can't even understand how anyone can say he did it all on his own when he was clearly introduced to the mainstream by Eminem and through Dre. Can't even comment on the thought that he can rock any style better than anyone... just wow.
