On the off topic of sequels I'd like to see made over ...

Dumb and Dumberer and Starship Troopers II (straight to DVD sums it up).

Trainspotting (the book) had a sequel that NEEDS to be made into a movie. It's called Porno, and it's a few years after the events in Trainspotting, and how the guys are looking to get even with each other. I couldn't stop laughing while I was reading it.

On the topic of Dumb & Dumberer, I would have loved to see a sequel with Jeff Daniels & Jim Carrey, not a prequel.

Scared Straight Cop buddy film starring Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines as two tenured Chicago detectives who were on the brink of retiring after one more big bust. Crystal and Hines seemed to have such a great chemistry on film. There's so many subtle verbal and non-verbal funny moments coupled with a great and simple story line. Unfortunately, this never made it to a sequel and of course had no chance once the passing of the great Gregory Hines occured.

There is Starship Troopers 3 thats coming with Casper Van Dien, but sadly it is going straight to DVD.

Office Space 2 was on the table but Mike Judge decided not to do it.

              I would like to see ID4 2.

Blade Runner. Amazingly, I sci-fi movie with Harrison Ford that didn't get a sequel.

I'd like to see The Ring Two be remade.

I think S.W.A.T. and Shooter should have sequels.

Another great one would be Deja Vu (but we call it Deja Vu All Over Again). That movie has great potential to be very trippy with how they would handle a sequel, it would just have to be right is all.

Can I kinda cheat and say Airplane 3?

At the end of Airplane 2 there was a bumper after the credits saying that a part 3 was coming out. It seems to me that it must've been some kind of inside joke but then again the sequelization of movies wasn't such a huge thing in the early '80s.

They need to make that Sin City sequel already. Thats one Ive been dying for. As far as sequels that should be done over...How 'bout the godfather part III. Personalyl i thought it was ok but oobivously couldnt hold the first two's coffee. It;d be interesting to see what could be done with a mulligan.

Old School, seems almost impossible now trying to get the big 3 (Ferrell, Vaughn, and Wilson) back for the sequel.

Not to sound like too much of a nitpicker, but how do you do a sequel to a movie based on a tragic true event? Do it on the next few seasons they play?
