Man that was a great, it's tied with The Incredibles for my favorite Pixar movie and is one of my favorite movies overall. The music was also really good and it was probably the best looking movie I've ever seen.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
saw it with my ma tonight... fantastic! I loved it. I'm absolutely fascinated by computer animation, especially Pixar. Coupled with Ratatouille, Pixar is on a friggin' roll!
EH, I got bugged to death so I went out and saw it with the boys. Just got back and it was worth it, it was a very nice movie. They put so much personality in that robot and he only sad like 3 words.
I wish it woulda ended with Wall-E never getting his memory back. That would have made a great ending and something different than the usual happy ending we are all accustomed too. Besides, crazy endings usually help word of mouth.
Still a fantastic movie though. Pixar rocks! Except for Cars

Absolutely amazing!!!!! One of the best looking,if not the best looking movie I have ever seen....the parts on earth..especially the beginning looked as real as it gets ...the story dragged just a tad in the middle..but the first 30 mins and the last 10 to 15 are a flat out masterpiece..I want my own freaking Wall*e

if you think that would have been a nice ending, you need some therapy brotha.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I was really caught off guard with just how good this movie is, although I don't know why because Pixar just churns out great flicks. The visuals were stunning, and I really enjoyed their ability to tell a story without the use of a lot of dialogue. Really amazing film.
I'm sure its a great movie but is anyone else bothered by the fact that Wall-E is an exact replica of Johhny Five from Short Circuit? It isn't even a rip off, it is identical. Where are all the lawsuits?

Well, Johnny Five was a rambling annoying piece of metal. Wall-E is pretty much silent.
Seriously, they do look alike and I've said that to a few friends of mine. There was an interview with the director, creator of Wall-E's look and he claims that he never even thought of Johnny Five when designing Wall-E. He says that Wall-E was based off a pair of binoculars. He found it "interesting how you could make a pair of binoculars look happy and sad by shifting them."
Considering that the movie is extremely emotionally driven, I can buy that binoculars deal.
He did admit that looking at the two they do look alike and that he understands the connection.

Yes. The movie is just that amazing. Pixar is incredibly gifted at this. Taking a robot and making it believable to humans.
