The Randy Rogers Band released 'Trouble' today. Off the bat I like it better then "Burning the Day". Randy was going through a divorce at the time of writing and recording. 'One More Sad Song' is pretty much a 100% true story.

I'll have to check it out. Tough All Over by Gary Allan is one of my favorite albums of all time because after dealing with his wife's suicide it seems as if you can really feel his emotions in his songs on that album and it gives me chills

Especially like "Best I ever had" "Life ain't always beautiful" and "I just got back from he'll" all those songs give me the chills

Gary Allan actually does back up vocals on "Flash Flood". Although you can never really hear him.

For any fans of Texas country or who have been wanting to check it out...

MusicFest 2014 live stream from Steamboat Springs, CO. Basically all of the Texas/Red Dirt bands and fans invade the mountains for a week. Live stream from 3 different stages each night through Thursday. Broadcast schedule. It's amazing sound quality and the best you'll get if you can't ever make a life show!*

*The sound on Casey Donahew's set is pretty bad. Their sound guy didn't give StageHop the correct matrix for a direct feed. Per SH it won't be an issue for the rest of the shows.

New self titled album by Wade Bowen. Easily one of the best country albums released this year. Do yourself a favor and listen to it

Not sure if he's been mentioned here or not but Sturgill Simpson has such a throwback sound, reminiscent of Waylon Jennings and other Outlaw Country acts. Highly recommended by someone that is not a big fan of country music.
