If you go to http://bloodshotrecords.com/giveaways JTE has a couple radio performances up for download (for free) that I highly recommend. As for individual songs my favorites off his debut are Hard Livin', Lone Pine Hill, and What Do You Do When You're Lonesome, but honestly the whole album is amazing. He's a throwback to Hank Williams Sr and that era.

Also at that link, I recommend the Ha Ha Tonka stuff - they're a great alt. country(rock) band.

Is that a new Hayes song or is it from one of his earlier albums?

Avett Brothers new album might be coming out this Summer as well - it is being produced by Rick Rubin on his American label. I cannot wait for this album. I saw the guys when they opened for Drive-By Truckers and they are very special and definitely one of the best bands I have seen live. They're shows are non-stop, balls to the wall, foot-stomping punky bluegrass. I only have one of their albums (Emotionalism), but I'll definitely have to pick up more. It would be awesome if they could capture their presense on a stage inside a studio.
