I don't know man, every album I can expect a different level of production, sound and lyrics. It still jams, it's still Kanye, it's just different.

Just like y'all are Big Boi/3 stacks, Em, Jay fans...that's how Kanye is in my book. Even with 808s, I found hella value in it. I could listen to that 'Say You Will' instrumental until I die.

Different strokes for different folks though. I ain't trying to convert nobody though.

UPDATE: On Ye's USTREAM, he said the album will be out 'sometime in November'
Oh nah I don't have a problem with Kanye. I actually have all of his albums that's mainly due that I can put aside my dislike/hatred for someone if they can make decent-good music. But I feel like ever since Late Registration, he just got lazy and put whatever out(808s being one)and that just because he's Kanye, anything he put out will be tight no matter what.

I respect what he does for the most part and I'll probably have his CD the first day it leaks on the internet but I hope definitely steps his game up back to how it was when LR dropped.

I guess we'll agree to disagree then. IMO those videos are creative and much better than so many videos. Except for Beyonce of course because we all know "Beyonce had the greatest video of all time!!".

I never got the feeling that Kanye got lazy at all. 808's was an experiment and the songs just fit Kanye's situation at that time with the dark, sad themes since it was after he lost his mom. Graduation wasn't as good as College Dropout or Late Registration, but it was still a solid album and not a "Curtis"-like flop.

Man, wtf happened to September 14th and G.O.O.D. Music Day? I was looking forward to that.

BTW, I heard he said on that UStream video that the next single is coming out in the next 20 days (19 now I guess). Looking forward to it.

That's the thing. 808s was an experiment that didn't have to be done and the only reason it was done was because T-Pain made the stupid autotune relevant for a few months only before D.O.A ended that nonsense.

Does anyone here like Brother Ali?

I've had a few of his tracks on my ipod and always liked them when they came on but never really looked into it much more than that. After DL'ing some of his albums and looking into it some more i realized that I had absolutely no idea that he was white let alone a damn albino!!!

If it sounds really good and its not part of the teen choice awards........its probably in the underground thread.
