Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
I'm just saying, it seems like some people would NEVER purchase a album/song. I support all my favorite artist, but I'd be lying to you if I told you all the music in my iTunes library was payed for. I know am not the only one in this thread either.
I can tell you're one of the older folks

Hell no I'm not no old head.(Only 25 homie)
I just know I ain't never heard someone describe a song saying it slaps.
But once I seen his username, I just figured it was a West Coast thing because ya'll be on some other **** compared to people on this side of the Mississippi LOL.
Shoot, I just found out not too long ago that people in NY say "Tight" which to them means they're madLast edited by ProfessaPackMan; 01-20-2012, 04:49 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

I like it tho. "Slaps". What will they think of next. There is only so much "going hard" and "gettin it in" one can do...wait, is it me or does that last sentence look slightly perverted?http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Definitely a West Coast thing then. We even use slaps when talking about subs in the trunk.Comment

All this talk is reminding me of that one guy that described a Dwyane Wade dunk as a "yam".Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
Reading this beat "slaps" conversation. Paul Rudd slapping the bass in I Love You , Man keeps popping in my head. Is that where the term comes from? A bass player using the slap technique. Or am I over thinking this?Last edited by areobee401; 01-21-2012, 01:03 AM.Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
