Curren$y is too underrated. The most consistent rapper, all his tapes are great imo and he has so much material.

How Fly is one of my favorite tapes. Hopefully they can get How Fly 2 out this summer.

Been listening to an old favorite of mine. Tupac Duets hosted by DJ Mellow and DJ Cinema.

^ Hah I definitely remember that tape because nobody I know heard of any of those tracks. Probably the only good unofficial Tupac tape

And just like that, Keef is thrust into the spotlight. Dude makes nothing but bangers.

I gotta admit "I don't like" does bang. It's one of them joints where I shake my head when I look at the video but the track stays stuck in my head afterward. I kinda hate myself for it because it's so dumb and that's that **** I don't like.

I went to Kanye's site thinking this was out already and came across this little tidbit:

"The project (the G.O.O.D. Music album) will mark the second official release through G.O.O.D. Music's new venture with Def Jam Recordings, to be followed this year by Big Sean's sophomore effort, Kanye West's next solo album"

That's pretty much as close to official that I've seen that the next album is coming out this year.

I'm hoping it's not gonna be delayed (doubtful) and that he goes back to the Good *** Job idea where it was supposed to be more of a straight up hip-hop sound. I just hope he doesn't feel like he's past the sound and concepts of his first 3 albums because I'd like to see him go back to that for at least one more album.

I went to the Childish Gambino concert the other night. That guy definitely knows how to put on a show. As for his opening act...

I had no idea who Danny Brown was before this and I now have no desire to find out who he is, listen to any of his music, or try to understand why he was up there.

No chance of him going back to a straight up "hip hop" sound. Never going to happen.

Not a fan of his music either. Although he has gained a rather large following. He's expected to be one of the next artists to blow up on the mainstream.

Probably has one of the best deliveries in rap right now. You're really missing out if you're going to rule him out just because of his appearance or whatever. XXX was one of 2011's best albums IMO.

Not to mention, he's funny as hell.

I'm not too big on Childish Gambino but my friend played this today and I dig it:
