So me and my artist, Clinton LG are finalizing his mixtape that should be released soon, called "The Answer". He has a real Joe Budden type feel to his rap.

He is from Jersey City as well. This is one of the singles off of that release. I hope that when it's time to release it, that I will get support from all you guys who frequent the hip-hop thread.

So Scott Van Pelt of ESPN is doing basically a 2012 MC Bracket NCAA Tournament Style with 4 regions(East Coast, 8 Mile, Dirty South and West Coast)Figured I post it here since you can never go wrong with doing a best rapper/producer NCAA Style and curious to see who you guys would choose. Just don't ask me how they came up with the rappers and how they'd seeded them because I have no idea either lol:

We should set up our own voting here on OS. Would be interesting to see who comes out on top.

Scott Van Pelt actually has decent knowledge of hip hop music. Him being a fan of Action Bronson gives him even more credibility in my book.

How did they cone up with that? Rappers are in totally opposite regions and the seeding is horrible. How do you have an 8 mile region and have Eminem number 5?

You mean like creating our own?

I'd be down for that but I think the hard part would be figuring out which rappers to use and then how we go about seeding them.

And 1Rose, like I said I have no idea how they determined all of that because I was trying to figure that out myself but they never explained it.

The brackets are set up like the NCAA tourney. It's not meant to be based on what region the artist is from. At least that's what they said on his radio show today.

I'd be down for that but I think the hard part would be figuring out which rappers to use and then how we go about seeding them.
Now that I think about it. I doubt we could come to any kind of agreement on who to use.

How about years active for the seeding?

On KRIT's "Temptation," that "Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh" in the background, did he sample that from OFWGKTA's "Swag Me Out"? Or where is that originally from? Cool points for him if he did.

That can't be it. MC Lyte is a 15.
