First single of the double LP Food & Liquor 2 drops May 22nd.

Even if the single is what I expect from Lupe, I'm still cautiously optimistic about the direction of the album as a whole. DJ Busy works for Atlantic, so take what he says with a grain of salt.

I'm both nervous and excited for it at the same time. I listened to F&L and The Cool non-stop for two years. Literally never listened to any song that was not off of those two albums. LASERS ... I liked, but didn't love. Don't ever really find myself listening to much off of that album. I'm just finding myself doubting that he can match the greatness of those two albums again. Hope I'm wrong.
