I honestly, truly, can't see how Andre isn't universally considered the best rapper of all time.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
I'm with you man. Been thinking about it a lot the past few weeks to be honest. I honestly think it's the absence of new Outkast material in the last decade or so combined with the fact that I think he's been killin other rappers on their tracks when he's featured. Regardless, he's up there with Eminem as the best alive to me.PS: You guys are great.

Coincidentally it is also one of my favorite Big Boi verses.

And Mr. Carter ranks his albums from best to worst:
His thoughts:
"1. Reasonable Doubt (Classic)
2. The Blueprint (Classic)
3. The Black Album (Classic)
4. Vol. 2 (Classic)
5. American Gangster (4 1/2, cohesive)
6. Magna Carta (****wit, Tom Ford, Oceans, Beach, On the Run, Grail)
7. Vol. 1 (Sunshine kills this album…****… Streets, Where I’m from, You Must Love Me…)
8. BP3 (Sorry critics, it’s good. Empire (Gave Frank a run for his money))
9. Dynasty (Intro alone…)
10. Vol. 3 (Pimp C verse alone… oh, So Ghetto)
11. BP2 (Too many songs. ****ing Guru and Hip Hop, ha)
12. Kingdom Come (First game back, don’t shoot me)"#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
I'm pretty good with his list. I'd probably drop Volume 3 to the bottom though. Other than "Big Pimpin" and "Do It Again", the album was horrible. Luckily, I got that one with those 12 CDs for a penny offers they used to have back in the day. Lol.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
Whats going on peoples? Quick question, are we allowed to merge in our own music endeavors as far as promotion in here? Is it cool for me to put up a description of what I do and a link to a website? Good look in advance. One.Comment

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
Black Album is a distant #1 for me, followed by The Blueprint, American Gangster, Reasonable Doubt, then Blueprint III. Idk why but I really enjoyed that album.
Glad that even Jay acknowledges how bad Kingdom Come was.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles
