Yeah speaking of Drake, I won't lie, I'm really looking forward to his album. I haven't been a major fan but I feel he's making "The Leap" and getting a lot better. That tracklist for Take Care looks really nice as well.

Yeah man that Drake album is shaping up to be something serious.

I'll never get the fascination with that dude man.

I just never will but I guess that's the product of getting old LOL.

And these last few months are shaping up to kinda slum. I swear the Spring/Summer were the best times to be a Hip Hop/Rap Fan but other than Ambition and I guess Take Care from Ja Rule.....oops I mean Drake, there ain't much else coming out. Not even really looking forward to TM103 considering it's been pushed back 103 times in the last year and a half.

I remember this time last year you asked when it was supposed to drop and I said in December. Smh. If it doesn't disappoint whenever it drops I'll be surprised.

That Cole World album was a bitch to find. Screw going about getting my music legally . I did buy it though and it didn't disappoint.

Personally I don't think it's as good as The Warm Up or Friday Night Lights, but it's still solid. The tracks I keep going back to so far are Nobody's Perfect, Mr. Nice Watch and Breakdown. Overall I'd say Lost Ones is my favorite song. I don't like the tweaks he made to the album version of it, but they don't ruin the song.

If I had to give the album a rating, I'd probably give it a 3/5. Not great or a classic like I hoped, but not terrible either. IMO there isn't a bad song on the album, although some songs are weaker than others of course. On the negative side there's a little bit of repetitiveness lyrically and while there isn't a bad song, I'm not sure there's a standout song. Cole still needs that track like Over or Black & Yellow that really puts him over the top. I also wish there were a few more songs similar to Lost Ones or (going back to the mixtapes) Can I Live or Dreams where it's more of a story he's telling than something like Cole World - "150 bitches in the club staring at me".

TBH I deleted the album version of lost ones, and put the other version back on my ipod. And I agree with you saying I was hoping more tracks would be of the "Lost Ones", or "Can I Live" sort. For my favorite song though, it would have to be either Cheer Up, even though I heard it like 4 months before the album came out (and been listening to it ever since ) or Nothing Lasts Forever.
