Hope to god they lose their lawsuit. Such a shame they don't offer it to every provider like mlb and nba.

I graduated this year so now I have no way of getting this. Soon enough, they'll lose the license and tons of subscribers who only use their service because they have to for nfl.

      Thanks!
From what I remember, they knocked me down to like $160 and gave $40 off my bill for 12 months in exchange for a one year commitment. I have to go home and see if I still have the notepad document detailing what I got saved still. Basically paying ME, lol. My leverage is not the same this year though because my contract was expiring August 2014 and my Dad called in like December 2014 or January 2015 and extended again so my contract isn't up until *after* the 2015 season. Grrrrrrr. I had it set up perfectly lol.

They already charged me Sunday as an auto renew for the first month. Looking forward to pay this off in a few months.

Out of contract and haven't played phone roulette in the last 2 years.

1 year contract renewal, who cares, not going anywhere
          $40 off per 12 months
Dropped down to regular NFLST as the MAX part wasn't being used much

I'm not 100% certain, but I may have been given the Sunday Ticket for basically $42 this year. I'll spoiler the story since it's kind of long:

              Re: DTV NFL Sunday Ticket?

I switched from DIRECTV after four years because they didn't want to give me any deals and it was just too much a month.

I'm willing to split the Sunday Ticket cost with someone just for login so I can watch Niners games on my laptop or phone.

              Let me know.

                  Re: DTV NFL Sunday Ticket?

For some reason the "contract end date" at the prompt didn't take me to the retentions department. Just said "cancel" at the prompt instead and talked to a regular CSR who transferred me to a retentions guy in a minute without even me asking for it. Retentions gave me $25 off for 12 months, Sunday Ticket Max for 1/2 off, and 4 months of Showtime. No 1 year needed. He said that's the best they have for August and that I'd have to call back for their September offers toward the middle of the month (they refresh every 35 days he said). Don't know if that's bogus or not.

Monthly bills are still high though. He knocked mine down to about 120 (compared to most of my last bills being 82 or 92). Not good enough. I'll probably call in a week or two and see what else there is because my Dad is going to see the number and think it's too high. And it is. Either I'll call in a couple weeks or I'll call in a couple days and say I want to cancel the Sunday Ticket cuz even with the credits the monthly bills are too high and see if they give it for free (to get it down to 80-90 per month) to keep me with it.

I called and cancelled. Will try to re-add it in a few days. Hopefully they give me something good. I just want to keep the bill around 80-100 so my Dad doesn't freak out.

                      Re: DTV NFL Sunday Ticket?

Today I made my third call overall. Spoke to a nice lady who said she was "above retention."

Not much budging so I took it. She offered me Red Zone Channel for free first and I declined because we have team-specific fans in our house. Then she just went back to the ST Max for half off ($167). I took it even though they asked for it in one lump sump on the next bill. Pay a lot more this month then have like 300 bucks in credits spread out over the next 11 months or so so it cancels out.

Not perfect, but not horrible either.

I was charged 41.99 on my June bill and haven't been charged it again since the situation above happen in July.

It seems like a too good to be true scenario so I'm full expecting not to have the ST next week. If that's the case I'll call and see what they can do for me.

Go to Channel 114, it should popup saying you are authorized and then have buy now for $0.00.

Next week is a free trial, so you won't be able to test it anyways.

I just flipped it over and it says I'm authorized. [emoji2]

                                DTV NFL Sunday Ticket?

I dropped my monthly down to $103 after speaking to retention department, but I'd still like to get it lower. I really only have DTV for Sunday Ticket and I told them that, so they gave me credits that equaled out to free ST for the year. Now if I can drop to the lowest TV package and still keep the ST, we might be on to something. The lady I spoke to seemed genuine enough and understood when I said I'd save a lot of money if I just dropped DTV altogether and went with FIOS, who I have as my internet provider.
The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.
