True...but didn't the Peter that shot Nathan from the future in Volume Three ALSO have the scar?

And then he altered that future by killing his dad, either way they look to be going a different direction.

Remember Claire also turned bad and a lot of the bad guys that where helping her are dead now. Basically that whole perspective of a future is no longer. But what I can't wait to see is where they go from here now.

Knowing Nathan is a ability holder will definitely prevent the whole President running thing now.

        Re: Heroes Season 3

I stopped watching the week before the eclipse. Partly because I had other things to do and partly because the show had just gotten really boring to me; a lot of the characters (Arthur, Parkman, Daphane) just seemed so cheesy. I stopped following this thread too so I wouldn't get spoiled as I figured I'd catch up at some point. The stuff SecondBase was posting at the time of the original airings were right along with how I felt about the show.

This past week though I decided to go ahead catch up using Netflix's instant watch and I still think the Poppa Patrelli arc was cheesy and bad. Fortunately though, it seemed to pick up after that and it went in the Days of Future Past with the government hunting, incarcerating and killing powered individuals. I am very much looking forward to how it plays out, this past episode ended great. HRG has grown on me alot, that's a great character. Also I started liking Nathan's a lot more with this current angle. Hiro's schtick is annoying now.

As for the identity of Rebel, my first thought was that it was Micah, since he had that power where he could "talk" to electronic devices. But what about that one girl from before who had a similar power? I remember her using sattelites to communicate before but I don't remember her ever being killed off. I read somewhere that Micah will supposedly be in this arc so it's probably just him.
        PS: You guys are great.

Impossible Nathan was in the room with them when parkman and peter broke in. And they were warned and delayed.

That's what they want you to think. Maybe Nathan has an unknown power at this point. I mean it's obvious he really wants to help his friends. Not to mention the part when Nikki? (can't remember her new name) sees the message from Rebel on the computer screen that says something along the lines of "there is still hope," then Nathan talks to her and ends the conversation by strongly emphasizing the word "hope" as if he knew she had read that. He's also familiar with the systems they used in building 26 and has claire's number.

I don't think Rebel is going to be some mysterious person we haven't met yet. Then they would have to be some all-knowing, all-power being that can see what's going on as it happens. If it's not Nathan, which I really feel like it is, then it's going to be someone we already know, either Bennett or Mrs. Petrelli seems most likely.

One more reason I just thought of to support the idea of Nathan being Rebel: We're about to see his character change dramatically after last week's episode. Assuming he's been exposed and is now fighting for his own freedom with the other heroes, he could easily be the leader against the newly recharged threat of Danko.

If you are right then I am never watching this show again. That would be a joke and a half when it comes to writing and development.
