Re: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Solid Season 7.
Definite upgrade from Season 6. I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't spend a little more time on Mac being fat, I was hoping he would still act like Mac, but be too fat to do a lot of things he does. Oh well, so I guess he'll be normal size again by next season and everything goes back to normal?Comment

Re: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
I liked this episode minus the rants of Dennis. The concept of Dennis being delusional about his high school popularity was on the verge of being funny , but his rage was annoying.
I was on the floor when an entertaining dance sequence came to reality.
Fat Mac and the rest hanging on the stalls got me too.
I think the waitress is on a downward spiral that could have Charlie dumping her.
Yeah, but it was all about the contrast between fantasy and reality-to me hilarious.Last edited by JayBee74; 12-16-2011, 09:32 PM.Comment

Sunny does an absolutely great job at them though. If they didn't do them, we wouldn't get the Dayman/Nightman song, play, etc.Comment

Re: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
I liked the episode.
I liked the Freight Train
I liked Dennis this episode (rage and all) but did not like the reveal that he was a loser too. I mean it makes sense that it is what unites them as a group and they can retreat back to the trusty bar, but part of what made Dennis awesome was how he placed himself on a pedestal above the others, much of which stemmed back to the fact that he was cool in high school.
I liked the Schmitty pop up, but you could see it coming (though I also thought we'd get a Psycho Pete sighting and we didn't).
I wasn't a fan of the dance routine, mainly because I was confused as hell about where the lights were coming from and all that. By the time I realized it was just a fantasy it was just reality, I was sort of like "meh".
Overall, it was a mixed bag for me.Comment

Re: It's always Sunny in Philadelphia
I heard a lot of good things about this show, but after giving it a shot for a couple episodes I'm not a fan. It has it's moments of course, but overall it does nothing for me. Certainly wouldn't put it over classic comedies like The Office, Arrested Development, etc.
Maybe it's the high voicesComment

The season premiere was old-style, horribly edgy but hilarious Always Sunny.
More please.Comment

Re: It's always Sunny in Philadelphia
I know the new season has started (haven't watched the ep yet), but did anyone watch the clips for the New Cast of Sunny?
This one is the long version of all the clips. Pretty funny stuff.

Haley Joel Osment is a perfect Mac. Perfect."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
