I'm still enjoying it too. I love Prison Break. But, I can't see them doing this much longer.

      Ugh.

I can't believe how this show went from being the greatest television series, in my opinion, to ever air on American television...to being absolute crap.

Unbelievable. I am furious at how this series has turned out.

So tonight was the fall finale, but there's still 6 episodes left of season 4, right?

I'll probably watch the rest of season 4, but I'm praying that season 4 is the last season, and they have a decent conclusion. This is dragging out way too long.

I wish they just would have ended it shortly after they broke in and took Scilla from the company. Now I just don't really care anymore about these new twists.

I agree completely, the new twists are really getting old and if this gets stretched out to another season then Im not sure I can go along for the ride at that point. I dont like this entire angle of their Mother still being alive and now Lincoln and Michael are competing for Sylla, its just getting stupid now. I will hang in there for the remainder of the season but Im not sure I can take anything more then that at this point.

Re: Prison Break Season 4 (Spoiler warning during airing and for west coast)

What pisses me off the most is that this new angle doesn't even make any sense.

            1. Season 1, Michael tells Sara that his mother died of liver cancer.
            2. Season 4, Lincoln tells Sara that his mother died of the same tumor Michael had.
            3. How do both Michael and Lincoln, who were at least around the ages of 10+ (probably more towards 13 or so), misconstrue their mother dying? Did she play dead in the casket at the funeral? Which death was the real one: liver cancer or tumor? The whole ****ing plot is ******** to be quite honest with you.

Another thing which pissed me off about tonight's (last night's) episode was the fact that Self corrected T-Bag on a lingual issue. Yet, in Season 2, we find out T-Bag was forced to memorize the Dictionary/Thesaurus/Encyclopedia (whichever one it was); therefore it is absolutely unreasonable for me to believe Don Self, of all people, would have the knowledge to correct T-Bag when it comes to words. Completely irresponsible writing on part of the writing staff who wrote tonight's episode.

Do the people working on Prison Break ever go back and watch their work? How is it that I know more about the continuity of the show than the guys who write the damn thing?

As a fan, it's very disheartening to see this show go down the toilet like this.

Edit: And don't even get me started on the way Sucre was written out of the series. What the flying **** was that? You're kidding me, right? After four years, you're just going to have the most loyal guy on the show just walk out? With no storyline attached to it? Just, "see ya guys, it's been fun. Hope ya make it!" Unbelievable!

All very good points Double 8's. Some of which had never crossed my mind.

Another thing to add about T-Bag last night was his great ability to flip flop. He's quick to try and protect Gretchen from being shot by bringing up the fact that she has a daughter, but then is quick to turn on the rest of the team by snitching to the general. Maybe he thought Gretchen was valuable to him or would protect him, but the change in his moral's seemed to be compeltely inconsistant and not very believable.

Last night they said tune in next Spring for the final six episodes...I hope these are the final six of the show and not just the season.

I'm sure Sucre will come back just like Mahone came back out of the blue.

I too was agitated with the Bagwell linguistic situation. The one thing I always understood about Bagwell is that while he may be a pedophile and sick man, he is not a dumb man. Even without remembering that whole thesaurus storyline, the character has always been written as a smart man that has a terrible craving. Last night, they treated him like a stereotypical prison mate. In that moment, Bagwell was less convincing as a character. He was just another guy in the series.

I'm also turned off by the mother situation. The commercials said "6 episodes left" without saying whether it was for the season or series. I'm assuming it's the series. I'm hoping it's the series. It better be because this mother thing is where Prison Break might have just jumped the shark. Actually, once you threw in Scylla, I think Prison Break jumped the shark. Scylla has been the beginning of the downfall of this series.

Re: Prison Break Season 4 (Spoiler warning during airing and for west coast)

                  Okay. What. The. ****!

I cannot believe I missed this the first go-around, and honest to god I wish I hadn't seen it. I just rewatched Monday night's episode, and found something that honestly makes me want to write a letter to the writer's of Prison Break and ask them what the hell they're doing to the show.

Can someone please explain to me why Michael's father is in the photographs with Lincoln, Michael, and their mother? Michael never met his father until the incident involving the foster-father, and then again in the Bolshoi Booze episode.

God damnit, I can't believe how bad the writing for this show has been this season. I am honestly at a loss for words at the disgusting irresponsibility of Paul Scheuring in the writing of this episode. For being the creator of the series, he has no concept of continuity.

The only thing I can hope is that the photo's are doctored and that Michael doesn't realize this, as the doctor/nurse during Michael's surgery said he could have memory loss and not realize it. If that's the case, I forgive the writers. If that's not the case, congratulations LOST, you're now my favorite series of all time.

Season's 1, 2, and 3 will always remain my favorite seasons of any series I've ever seen, but Season 4 has completely ruined it. I am disgusted.

Oh, wow, I didn't even notice. Damn, you're like a Prison Break Encyclopedia. I follow Lost like it's my child, but Prison Break just doesn't stick like that to me.

I went back to read some of the older plot lines and you're absolutely correct. Michael's dad has no business being in those photos.

Re: Prison Break Season 4 (Spoiler warning during airing and for west coast)

It was my favorite show on television. I have seen every season (excluding this current one) at least six times a piece, so I've come to know the details, no matter how small.

I had my gripes about season 3, but no where near as much as this season. Those gripes in season 3 were small too, being little things like how Whistler went from near death while stuck underground, but after a sip of water, he was as good as new. Just small stuff like that. With season 4 though, the writer's have butchered the entire storyline + done stupid things that aren't a big deal in the grand scheme of things (tattoo removal leaving no scars, T-Bag going from moustache - goatee - clean shaven every other episode, Michael running around after brain surgery, etc..)

And it's not just the writer's who have gotten lazy, it's the actors and the film crew too. In Monday' nights episode they used a stunt double for Wentworth Miller for a scene where all he had to do was run. Then they used mannequin's in the dune-buggy crash scene, and even in full speed, you can tell there aren't real people in the dune-buggy that flips over. It's like they didn't even try to make them look real, or at least film it so it was hard to tell.

Well, it's official, this is the last season.

While I hate to see it go, if the series was going to continue like it has the past few episodes, good riddance. If the writer's couldn't take the time to put out a quality product, then it's good that FOX is ending it.

I can't get over how bad of a turn the series took this season. The Fall Finale butchered the storyline of the series, and makes me feel as if I wasted four years of my life. At least Season 1 and 2 were great, nothing can beat 'em. Three wasn't bad either, but season 4 can kiss my ***.

Edit: I will say that FOX, yet again, is making an idiotic decision by moving the show to Friday. It's like they completely forgot about the two-hit punch of 24 and Prison Break in 2005. They are going to lose out on even more viewers now that they moved Prison Break to Friday. I swear, the network is run by the biggest bunch of ******s on the planet (what do you expect when it's owned by Rupert Murdoch?).

Eights, I love this show too, but it does need to end after this season. In a way I am glad and then sad in another. But you need to remember that once FOX things you are a dead show, they move you to Fridays or they **** with the show moving it around with various timeslots. They also moved one of my other favorite shows to Friday, 'Till Death', which was great until some studio suits decided to get rid of the young next door neighbors wrecking the fun of the show. FOX does this all the time and has for years.
