Re: Who is your favorite bassist of all-time?
I remember as a kid going and watching Kirk playing with his band Exodus in Kirk's mom basement. It was cool. My brother new him and even jammed with him. Cool dude, so was Cliff. James was kinda a jerk, at least I thought he was. I met them a couple times back stage.Comment

Re: Who is your favorite bassist of all-time?
My wife really liked Morphine and had me listen to a CD or two. I guess she hung out with them backstage (I didn't ask) after a show at Penn State back in the day. He certainly had a unique style...
And Reverend Horton Heat, well, just reading the name brightened my day...
EDIT: I thought she might like the video, so I showed her the thread. She told me that when they were hanging out, Mark called her "a tie-dyed vision in velvet". I wonder if there were any drugs involved? Trippy man...Last edited by Qb; 09-03-2008, 07:39 PM.Comment

Wow, that video of Louis Johnson really takes me back. I used to have that on VHS (still might somewhere) and I used to watch that all of the time. Great stuff.PSN: ScoopBrady
