Here's more info. I think I'll be sticking to IE, but I'm kind of an internet explorer groupie.
Wow, someone besides my 85 year-old grandmother uses IE. Congrats!

I'm tooling around with it now, i've had issues of late with build 3 of firefox as have many others with crashing.

I think i'll use chrome a lot actually, its a lot like firefox and with all the people Google has i'm sure it will constantly be upgraded and have a lot done to make it the best out there.

I like the new tabs. Nothing special now, but could be when people start making add ons and themes.

Works pretty fast for me. I might shut down opera for awhile at work in place of this one. Only if i could change the tab color

I'll stick with FF but not bad for a first go. As fishepa stated, definitely needs Adblocker.

Also I was thinking, since Google and Sony have been buddies lately, maybe they can come together and Chrome could replace the Sony browser in the PS3.

At first glance, I'm enjoying it. Its clean, has some nice new features (incognito, one bar for everything, the default theme, speed), and is will only need to run light with many tabs open, stay responsive, and have an adblocker to become my main browser. I love Firefox but I'm sick of it becoming an irresponsive memory hog when I use it for a good bit of time.

I think the more I used Chrome, the more I liked it. Fast, uses very little memory and overall has a nice appearance and the standard features.

I'll be using Firefox still, but it'll be my backup once Chrome is released on Linux.

It does have a built in spell checker.

Anyone notice this from the Google Chrome EULA:

yeah I just came across that too. That sucks.

Something I do like about the Google browser is the way your can expand the text boxes you type in (like this one I'm typing in right now). I think Safari is the only other browser I've used that allows that.

Huh, isn't that a forum software feature and not a browser feature? It's been available in Firefox for as long as I can remember.

really? that's cool. I just know in Safari it was by default, just like in Chrome. If it's a forum feature though, how come I see the expandable textbox in Chrome but not Firefox 3?
